Winyu, an alumnus of De Montfort University with an honours degree in Interior Design, has built an illustrious career with prominent design firms in London, including 1508 London and Caudwell, where he served as Head of Interiors. With over 16 years of expertise in residential, hotel, and hospitality design, Winyu has orchestrated comprehensive refurbishments and decorations for high-net-worth clients in the UK and internationally. His global portfolio includes luxurious projects such as Caribbean villas in Barbados, ski chalets in Courchevel, and prestigious hotels like the Four Seasons in the Red Sea and Six Senses in France. His experience also extends to residential development projects such as leading the design processes for Chelsea Barracks and 1 Mayfair.
Winyu’s approach to design is akin to a couturier’s, meticulously retaining authentic features while enhancing the inherent character of each space. He offers an ultra-bespoke, luxurious service, resulting in timeless environments where architecture, furniture, and art blend seamlessly to create unique and exquisite spaces.
Ethan’s design journey began under the guidance of the esteemed Canadian designer Brian Gluckstein in Toronto, where he worked on high-end private homes and prestigious condominium projects like One St. Thomas, the Four Seasons and 100 Yorkville. His career flourished in London, where he spent a decade as a senior designer with the notable society designer Nicky Haslam at NH Design, working on residences for royalty, dignitaries, and celebrities worldwide. His experience extends to the superyacht industry, having worked with Terence Disdale on a 180m superyacht, and he has also worked on prestigious projects for the Karma Group and the iconic 1 Mayfair development.
Ethan’s work is deeply influenced by global travel, a rich cultural heritage, and a strong academic background, resulting in timeless, unique environments that seamlessly blend high-quality materials, impeccable craftsmanship, and meticulous research.
